This programme aims to train trainees to become semi-skilled workers who are competent in producing various bakery products such as bread, buns, doughnuts, muffins, and pizza. In addition, trainees are exposed to the preparation of sweet and savoury fillings as well as food safety, health, and hygiene practices in accordance with industry standards such as HACCP, GMP, and Halal requirements.The programme also emphasizes proper handling of bakery materials and products, as well as basic knowledge of bakery product marketing. In line with the rapid growth of the food and tourism industry in Malaysia, this programme provides various career opportunities such as bakery assistant, demi chef, bakery entrepreneur, and positions within the food and beverage industry.
