Pengenalan Kursus

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) used in electrical installations. It covers technical knowledge of PLC architecture, control system components, basic programming methods such as Ladder Diagram, and practical skills in installation, testing, and maintenance of automation systems.

Students will also gain exposure to safety standards, documentation practices, and simulation tools relevant to PLC applications in domestic and light commercial electrical systems. The course combines theory with hands-on experience to prepare students for entry-level roles in industrial automation and control systems.

These skills are highly in demand in modern manufacturing and building automation industries. Career Opportunities for PLC Module Graduates: PLC Technician Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based systems in industrial and commercial settings. Industrial Automation Technician Work with automated machines, conveyors, sensors, and control panels in factories. Electrical Control Panel Assembler Assemble and wire electrical panels with PLCs, contactors, relays, and timers. Maintenance Technician (Automation) Maintain and repair electrical control systems in production environments. SCADA / HMI Assistant Technician Support in operating and integrating PLC systems with SCADA or Human Machine Interface platforms.
